This role is part-time and fully remote! Hours will range from 8-20 hours a month.
HOW A NETWORK ENGINEER ADVISOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

- Responsible for the design and development of voice, video, and/or data communications networks
- Work directly with with Network, Telecom and Open systems engineers
- Responsible to work with other team members via Service Desk ticketing system, Working meetings and occasional on site projects
- Needs the ability to work independently and proactively
- Will be responsible for the management of Cisco, Palo Alto and Meraki Firewalls and Networking infrastructure across two Datacenters in support of the BCRC contract
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Required skills and experience:
- Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science
- 5+ years of related experience
- Ability to engineer and administrate Networking Switches and Firewalls at a high level
- Experience with Fortinet
- Cisco, Palo Alto, Meraki experience
