Job Description

As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the company's network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess network requirements, develop solutions, and support ongoing network operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and maintain LAN/WAN/WLAN networks, including routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking equipment.
- Implement and maintain network security measures to protect against unauthorized access, viruses, and other security threats.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure maximum uptime and efficiency.
- Perform network upgrades and migrations as needed to support business requirements.
- Create and maintain network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and standard operating procedures.
- Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and IT staff as needed.
- Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve the company's network infrastructure.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Network Engineer or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs.
- Hands-on experience with networking hardware, such as Cisco, Juniper, and Aruba.
- Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent.
- Experience with cloud networking technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Knowledge of software-defined networking (SDN) principles and technologies.
- Experience with network monitoring and management tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios).
