The Opportunity:
A well-designed network is critical to move data and enable National Security Space operational units to achieve their missions, but how can an organization make sure their network will fit their current and evolving needs? Crafting the right network, with the right equipment and software, requires a combination of technical skill and careful planning. That's why we need you, an experienced Network Engineer who knows how to develop the exact network the client needs. As a Network Engineer on our team, you'll use your experience in network design and architecture to support the nation's defense and respond to evolving adversaries.
You'll analyze current working infrastructures, develop enterprise-wide infrastructure, and increase security, reliability, and availability for mission-critical network systems. You'll apply your expertise in routing and switching, integration of encryption gear, network design and architecture, system interoperability, IP engineering, network transport layers, multi-protocol label switching, gateway protocol, virtual routing, and forwarding as you join our team of problem-solvers to help the client's Command evolve and deploy new capabilities and technologies. Your knowledge of network protocols, equipment, emerging technology, and configurations will come in handy as you optimize client operations and modernization. Using your experience in Cryptographic equipment, cryptography, key management, software and hardware firewalls, cloud migration, optical infrastructure networking, virtual routing and forwarding, and network monitoring, you'll serve as a trusted advisor to clients on mission-critical projects. Using your technical curiosity and knowledge of industry standards, you'll make an impact on national security missions. You Have:

• 5+ years of experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud network, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud technologies
• Experience with Cybersecurity, Information Security, or Risk Management Framework
• Experience in the application of Cybersecurity, including network monitoring and tools
• Experience with COTS network infrastructure technologies
• Knowledge of Cisco and Juniper technologies
• Ability to analyze systems and networks for a clear written determination of compliance or residual risk
• Ability to analyze potential vulnerability mitigation strategies
• Ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and work with internal and external teams
• Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree

• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Security or Routing and Switching Certification, or AWS Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $73,000.00 to $166,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
