Job Description:
POSITION SUMMARY:
This high-level position manages all network design, implementation, operation, and support aspects. The role requires both tactical and strategic skills. The ideal candidate should be proficient in implementing and managing network devices, including firewalls, load balancers, traffic shapers, QoS, Cisco switches, routers, VPN, and wireless access points. Additionally, they should have knowledge of LAN/WAN technologies and hosted data center strategies. Proficiency in Cisco VoIP is also required.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Address business and application requirements
• Design infrastructure to support requirements.
• Configure automation solutions to achieve business goals.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and infrastructure teams for automation solutions.
• Troubleshoot automation issues and find practical solutions.
• Provide advanced technical expertise to maintain stability and security of LAN/WAN environment.
• Manage large enterprise projects independently.
• Establish and maintain relationships with key vendors.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 8+ years of network engineering and administration mandatory
• Technical and process maturity for continuous availability and security.
• Expertise in dynamic routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP).
• Experience with Cisco ASAs for Remote Access VPNs, LAN-to-LAN IPSec VPNs, NAT, inspection policies, and access control.
• Thorough understanding of OSI network model, Ethernet, and TCP/IP networking.
• Advanced experience with TCP/IP-based services (DNS, DHCP, HTTP, FTP, SSH, SMTP).
• Advanced knowledge of network monitoring utilities and security topics.
• Ability to diagnose and analyze performance of distributed systems.
• Excellent communication skills, team-oriented, CCIE or CCDE preferred, willingness to travel up to 20%.

Candidates based in California, Colorado, Hawaii, New York or Washington:
The Compensation range for this role is 102,632.40 - 205,264.80 USD annually and may be eligible for an annual bonus. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual's location, skills, experience and qualifications.
