Location: Anchorage, AK (Hybrid Remote)
Duration: 10 months
Duties:
- Switch/Router/Network equipment configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting
- Network design
- Research, design and test network implementations
- Provide cost benefit analysis of available options
- Coordinate with external entities for network services
- Network Design Documentation
- VPN Configuration
- Group security policies
- Client installation configuration
- Routing configuration
- Firewall Administration
- Address translation moves, adds and changes
- Port filtering moves, adds and changes
- Authorization moves, adds and changes o Authentication moves, adds and changes o Periodic security reviews
- Apply updates to firewall operating systems
- Router configuration
- Specifications and purchase.
- Routing protocol configuration
- Network parameter configuration
- VLAN configuration
- Apply updates to router operating systems
- Switch configuration
- Specifications and purchase
- Port parameter configuration
- VLAN configuration/assignment
- Port channel configuration
- Spanning tree configuration/monitoring
- WAN configuration and monitoring
- Integrated Services administration
- IP telephony design, testing and implementation
- Video services design, testing and implementation
- Quality of Service (QOS) design, testing and implementation
- Phone PBX / IP Phone Administration
- Apply security updates and patches as required
- Design, develop, implement disaster recovery and business continuity
Education:
- Associates Degree
