Job description

Pay Range: $120k- $138k/Annum.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide network operations management over 9 team members and interact with over 25+ teams (Windows, Unix, Cloud Operations, Database,Systems Monitoring, Data Center Services, Security, et cetera) in an IT environment with over 20,000 end-users across 400+ sites.
  • Provide leadership to the direct team members and manage and maintain contractor interface with the senior levels of the customer’s organization.
  • Consult with customer and contractor personnel to formulate and review task plans and deliverables, ensuring conformance with program and project task schedules and costs and contractual obligations.
  • Establish and maintain technical reports to show progress of projects to management and customers, organize and assign responsibilities to subordinates, oversee the successful completion of all assigned tasks, and take the initiative and provide support to marketing personnel in identifying and acquiring potential business.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience: 
  • Must have:   (“Network operations” or “Network operations Manager” or “Network Manager” or “Lead system engineer” or “lead Network Engineer”) and (LAN or WAN or “local area network” or “wide area network”) and (CCNA or CCNP or CCIE or PMP or ITIL) and (Servicenow or “service now” or “Service-now”)
  • Experience organizing, directing, and managing contract operation support functions for multiple, complex, and inter-related IT projects with a combined scope of over 10,000 users and 50 sites.
  • A broad knowledge of unified communications, network, and telecommunications.
  • Experience managing teams of contract support personnel at multiple locations.
  • Experience maintaining and managing client interface at senior levels of the client organization.
  • Meets with customer and Contractor personnel to formulate and review task
  • plans and deliverable items. Ensures conformance with program task schedules and costs.
  • At least 10 years of related local area network/wide area network (LAN/WAN) work experience.
  • At least 10 years of experience implementing large-scaled projects/systems.
  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Systems,
  • Business or related discipline. The Contractor may substitute a minimum of 4years work experience for Bachelor degree requirements.
  • MBA or Master’s Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related discipline. The Contractor may substitute a minimum of 8 years work experience for MBA or Master Degree requirements.
  • Must have Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the
  • Project Management Institute (PMI).
  • Certification in at least ITIL v3 Foundations certification is required.
  • Certification in Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Cisco
  • Certified Network Professional (CCNP) required. Cisco Certified
  • Internetwork Expert (CCIE) preferred.
  • Ticket Queue Management (Change Requests, Incidents, Problems, ServiceTasks). Preferably with ServiceNow.
  • Knowledge on configuring NetFlow and performing NetFlow analysis for troubleshooting and explaining to Leadership. Preferably via LiveAction or SolarWinds tool.
  • Experienced with Cisco ISE and NAC policies.
  • Cisco DNA Center. Knowledge on upgrading IOS images within DNA Center,
  • Wireless troubleshooting, Wireless heat maps, and Assurance within Cisco DNA
  • Knowledge of how to troubleshoot and provide RCAs with Cisco ThousandEyes
  • Endpoints and Enterprise Agents.
  • Monitoring networking equipment (uptime, hardware failures, configuration compliance, alerting, reports, et cetera). Preferably through SolarWinds.
  • Knowledge of troubleshooting via Splunk logs.
  • Familiarity with Zero Trust. Preferably Zscaler.
