Candidates MUST be WI residents or willing to relocate to WI at their own expense prior to starting. This position can work 100% remotely (within the state of WI).

Job Description: .NET Web Developer II

The intermediate level .NET Web Developer designs, develops, and implements web-based applications using .NET framework to support business requirements. Includes the use of related development technologies such as ASP.NET, MVC, .NET CORE and supported programming languages (e.g.: C#, bootstrap) and scripting languages (e.g.: TypeScript, JavaScript). Performs development of front-end and back-end development of web applications and web API's (webservices). Follows approved life cycle methodologies, creates documentation, and performs application coding and testing. Resolves technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation.

Current Programs:

• Independently designs and builds relational databases and will continue maintenance for the Campaign Finance Information System (CFIS), Lobbying website, and the Statement of Economic Interest (SEI) website.
• This person will also work with staff to troubleshoot issues that arise during use and reporting within the applications.
• This person will work with staff and other stakeholders to facilitate the implementation of application changes.

Qualification/Experience

• Requires a bachelor's or associate degree in area of specialty or 3-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
• Experience with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
• Can perform with limited supervision, code is reviewed by team.
