Job Title : .NET Technical Lead
Location : The Woodlands - TX USA (Hybrid) - Onsite 3 days a week
The Role: Individual Contributor External Facing Role for application support and enhancements
Essential Functions:
• Design, code, unit test, and deploy multi-tenant, highly available software components using a variety of open-source technologies.
• Associate will need to be able to analyze requirements, code, and issues to devise strategies and understand solutions.
• Actively participate in requirements, architecture, and design meetings.
• Work efficiently and collaboratively in an Agile (Scrum or Kanban) team environment.
• Role is for application support and enhancements.
Qualifications :
Education : BS in Computer Science or related major
Required Experience :
• Backend API developer with 8+ years of experience.
• Expert with .Net Core, C# and Microservices.
• Expert with ORM framework like Entity Framework, Entity Core.
• Intermediate knowledge of SQL Server and Postgres databases.
• Should have working knowledge of Gateways, service to service communications, AKS, and Azure.
• Strong communication is needed. The candidate should be able to own deliverables, communicate risks, and concerns both internally within the team or externally to stakeholders like product partners.
• Be willing to learn new skills whether they are directly tied to software development, software testing, server maintenance, or web application release and delivery.
• Associate should be flexible, eager to learn, creative and stay motivated.
• Communicate well in person, over email, and via instant messenger within the team and with other development teams to improve quality, advance standards, and handle issues.
• Be self-directed and able to prioritize your own workload.
Desired Experience:
• Angular, React, Oracle, GitHub

• Understand and empathize with others.
• Coach people through powerful questions rather than use of authority
• Expert facilitation skills
• Quick critical thinking skills to analyze a situation and organize and guide teams to solve problems.

• Additional Skills - Angular, React, Oracle, GitHub etc. are good to have skills.

Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $[80,000.00 - 100,000.00] depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
