Job Description
Neatoscan is looking for a software engineer comfortable in C#, ASP.NET, and SQL databases.
About Neatoscan Neatoscan builds powerful inventory management tools for online secondhand sellers. We have three products that help list, sell, manage, and evaluate secondhand products- including books. Our software processes thousands of items each month and has helped retailers sell millions in inventory.
We have a solid base of customers and experience in our industry, but the software we are building is ever expanding and cutting edge. You'll get direct input into what we are doing and the direction we go.
Since we are a small company, you'll be able to help select the technologies we use. And we can build our applications with the latest and greatest techniques available - not held back by some corporate policy requiring us to do things a certain way.
Your Experience
- 3+ years of experience designing, developing and testing with C# and .Net
- 3+ years of experience in building distributed applications in the .Net environment.
- Application development experience using .Net data access technologies such as Entity frameworks, Object relational mappings, ADO.Net
- A strong understanding of Best Practices within any .Net technology
- Motivation to discover and experiment with newer technologies and ability to analyze the merits/demerits of newer technologies
Desired Skills
- C#.NET
- Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) / XAML
- ASP.NET
- MySQL Server / SQL Server
- Experience working with various Web API technologies (SOAP, REST, OAUTH)
- Amazon Web Services APIs
- eBay Trading APIs
What You'll do
- Deploy code on your first day.
- Take charge of our stack, drive decision-making, and own new features.
- Work on our .Net backend and frontend building out new features and improvements.
- Talk to customers and contribute in product direction
- Help guide and grow Neatoscan Labs into the best ecommerce software for retailers.
