Neonatology in west Texas - academic position

Northwest Children's Hospital at Northwest Texas Healthcare System is assisting Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC), Amarillo campus in recruiting a BC/BE Neonatologist for an employed faculty position providing services at our hospital and Level III NICU in Amarillo, TX. 

The Department of Pediatrics and Pediatric Residency Program at TTUHSC at Amarillo is a collegial, tight-knit community of residents and faculty with a big mission to train confident and compassionate physicians and deliver evidence-based, family-centered care for a diverse population in an open learning environment. The department of 10 Pediatricians and 5 APPs enjoys a strong reputation in the region and includes general pediatrics and pediatric subspecialties including neonatal-perinatal, cardiology, critical care, endocrinology, hematology-oncology, neurology, sports medicine, surgery, and developmental-behavioral.

Qualifications:

• BC/BE in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine and Pediatrics
• Become board certified within a year of hire date if BE
• Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited Pediatrics residency program
• Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited Neonatal-Perinatal fellowship program
• Exemplary clinical skills, a team spirit, collegiality, an interested in training pediatric residents and medical students
• Clean background and medical license record
