Nemours Children Health is currently seeking a Neonatologist to work at our partner hospitals, Cleveland Clinic Martin Health.
Cleveland Clinic Tradition Hospital, in Port St. Lucie, has a 10-bed, level II NICU and supports approximately 1,200 deliveries per year. The unit has all private rooms with family friendly amenities, beds are centrally monitored at the nurse's station as well as with in-room cameras.
Cleveland Clinic Martin North, in Stuart, has a 5-bed level II NICU and has approximately 600 deliveries per year.
Responsibilities include rounding with Nemours Neonatal Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) on NICU patients, well-babies, as well as supervising the APP's attending high-risk deliveries at both locations. Each level II NICU is staffed with 24/7 in-house Nemours Advanced Practice Providers with a total of 3 Neonatologists who round and take call from home.
Nemours providers at Cleveland Clinic have access to all Nemours Pediatric subspecialists located in Orlando. The Nemours Neonatal transport team provides transport to the Children's hospital for infants requiring level III or higher care and provide inbound transports from an affiliated level I nursery located at Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital in Vero Beach.
