S&ME is seeking an individual interested and passionate about growing their career with metals and steel bolt inspections ensuring the structural integrity of steel on construction sites. What You Will Do:

As an NDT/NDE Inspector, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the structural integrity and safety of our projects by visually inspecting structural steel, including bolted and welded connections, where no two days are the same. This position is ideal for recent graduates with a passion for non-destructive testing and evaluation, offering a unique opportunity to kick-start a rewarding career in the field.

• Conduct non-destructive tests and evaluations on various construction materials and structures.
• Utilize cutting-edge technology and equipment to identify potential defects, flaws, or irregularities.
• Collaborate with our seasoned engineering team to interpret and report findings accurately.
• Implement and adhere to industry standards and safety protocols.
• Coordinate testing assignments on various projects, maintaining testing equipment, report preparation, and fieldwork including safely climbing steel structures like buildings, cell phone towers, and water tanks to heights above 200 feet

Who You Are:

• You have a High School Diploma/GED
• You have 0-2 years of metals testing experience; or you have an Associate's degree or NDE certification
• You are willing and able to travel out of town for short periods
• You have the ability to climb heights in excess of 200 feet
• You have experience in the use of fall protection equipment and personal fall arrest systems, a plus
• You are willing and able to work 50+ hour work weeks (during periods of peak workload), as well as off-shift and weekend work, as required

This is a full-time position with competitive pay based on experience. The successful candidate must meet the requirements of the company's Fleet Management Program, Substance Policy, and Reference Check Program.
