```Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Nondestructive Testing Technician to join our team. As a Nondestructive Testing Technician, you will be responsible for performing quality inspections and tests on various materials and components. Your attention to detail and ability to analyze test results will be crucial in ensuring the integrity and safety of our products.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct nondestructive testing using various techniques such as ultrasonic, radiographic, magnetic particle, and liquid penetrant testing
- Interpret test results and analyze data to determine if materials meet specified requirements
- Perform quality inspections on components and finished products
- Follow established procedures and codes standards to ensure accurate testing and inspection
- Use hand tools, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments to take precise measurements
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings
- Assemble and disassemble components for testing purposes
- Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot issues and improve testing processes
- Maintain accurate records of test results, inspections, and any necessary repairs or adjustments
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and guidelines
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of nondestructive testing techniques and equipment
- Proficiency in using hand tools, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills for interpreting test results
- Familiarity with codes standards related to nondestructive testing
- Strong problem-solving abilities for troubleshooting issues during testing processes
- Good communication skills for collaborating with team members and reporting findings
