POSITION SUMMARYResponsible for the organization according to regulatory standards and daily operation and supervision of staff in their respective area.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS1. Licenses and Certifications Required ASCP or equivalent2. Educational Requirements ND license (not applicable for Cytology or Histology) Official diploma or transcript from the school/university from where Degree was received BS in Biological Science or Medical Laboratory Science3. Experience Requirements 4 years generalist experience; Supervisory experience preferred4. Special Skills or Training Requirements Clinical InternshipThis position requires an MT or MLS (not MLT) who has at least 4 years generalist experience (with strength in blood bank), with experience with the following instrumentation strongly preferred:Beckman DxC700AUBeckman DxI 600 or 800Beckman ImmageBioRad BioPlexOrtho EciQBeckman DxH 600 or 800Beckman IricellACL TOP 350, 550, or 750Ortho Vision (or ProVue)Cephei GeneXpertPhlebotomy skills are required. Experience with Cerner Millenium is highly preferred. Previous Supervisory experience strongly preferred.
