Manages the operation and maintenance of four (4) Operations Centers: Wahiawa, Hawaii Satellite Communications (SATCOM), Mobile User Objective System (MUOS), Kaneohe, Hawaii Tactical Support Communications (TSCOMM), Naval Radio Transmitting Facility (NRTF). Coordinate training efforts with Program of Record
Create training, Personal Qualification Standards (PQS), and examination material for all four O&M disciplines (Network, System Administration, Security, and Maintenance)
Keep accurate accounting of personnel training progress & completions. This includes O&M technology-specific training, Cybersecurity compliance, 3M qualifications and KMI qualifications.
Establish training packages for all new/on-boarding personnel
Maintain and keep accurate inventory the training library of physical and recorded media/resources
Provide assistance to Operations & Maintenance personnel as required
Research personnel security clearance information for Site Access control.
Issue security badges based on visitor access authorization.
Gather, collate and prepare documents for various submissions.
Greet and direct visitors to required locations as required by mission.
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Education / Certifications: One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.
High School Diploma
Minimum 5 years specialized technical experience
This is a Cyber Security Work Force (CSWF) Code 712 position and requires compliance with the DON Cyberspace IT/Cybersecurity Workforce Model located on NAVY COOL website.
Experience:
Must have experience of managing a training program at a comparable operational telecommunications facility.
Must have intermediate level understanding of networking, system administration, security, and hardware replacement
Previous Program knowledge/experience preferred
Security Clearance
Must be a US Citizen
Must possess and maintain Top Secret level security clearance
