A successful candidate will have a background in machining and will also be familiar with high-precision equipment use, tooling and inspection, CNC programming and computer numerical control (CNC) machine programming. The position requires a strong understanding of product fabrication and close attention to detail. We are seeking a person that is detail-oriented, enjoys working with numbers, has strong communication skills, is proficient in problem solving and is familiar with computer numerically controlled (CNC) machine programming.
Responsibilities:
- Design parts and programs in a multi-dimensional CAD system.
- Generate and interpret engineering drawings.
- Expert knowledge of CNC machinery.
- Use a variety of manual machine tools.
- Use computer numerical control machines to produce parts or to modify existing parts.
- Read and understand engineering drawings.
- Understand how a part will work when put together (what it is used for).
- Generate programs for CNC machines.

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
