The salary range for this role is $28.60/hr. The salary rate provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Position Role Type:

Machines production parts by using NC machines per process books and drawing specifications per the established quality and production standards.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Obtains necessary stock, fixtures, tooling, and gaging
- Sets-up and operates NC machines simultaneously, to produce module parts
- Operates manual machines such as lathes, grinders, drills, presses, saws
- Performs in-process inspection as a certified operator
- Performs CMM
- May be assigned to support functions such as:
- Deburr, Tumble
- Part Mark
- Performs computer transactions
- Moves parts to, from, within module
- Cleans machines
- General housekeeping
- Provides direction to Machining Support Tech
Qualifications/Experience Needed:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Blueprint and routing reading and comprehension
- Competent with hand tools and experienced with measuring equipment
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements
Training will be on 1st shift
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior CNC operation/machining experience
- Basic computer skills such as log on, data entry and retrieval
- Must be able to obtain certifications and qualifications required to perform the job.
