Form of workGhostrock, LLC, a subsidiary of Three Saints Bay, LLC and Federal Government Contractor industry leader, is seeking a Navy FC Ships Self Defense Systems Technician to provide technical assistance on NSSMS, CIWS and RAM systems in San Diego, CA.
Position Overview:
As a representative of Southwest Regional Maintenance Center (SWRMC) provide technical assistance on the NATO Sea Sparrow Missile Systems (NSSMS), Close In Weapon Systems (CIWS) and Rolling Airframe Missile (RAM) systems aboard U.S. Navy ships under the cognizance of SWRMC.
This position will work out of SWRMC, Bldg. 3392 at Naval Base San Diego, and will receive daily work assignments from the SWRMC Branch Head. The job consists of providing assistance to the shipboard crews in the operation, inspection, problem identification, troubleshooting and maintenance of the installed NSSMS systems.
Position Responsibilities:
• The candidate must have the ability to converse with all levels of shipboard crews along with the management personnel of SWRMC.
• Familiarity and understanding of the Navy, shipboard and SWRMC safety and security requirements is required for all aspects of the job.
• NSSMS MK 57, NATO Sea Sparrow Missile System
• NSSMS Directors MK78
• MK 15 CIWS.
• MK 31 RAM Missile Weapon System
• Navy instructor training is desired.
• Familiarity with the operation and understanding of the Navy test equipment is required.
• Familiarity with a personal computer and the Microsoft Office applications are required.
• Must be able to walk and climb stairs while carrying tools and various other utensils or manuals while on board the ships.
Position Requirements:
• US Citizen;
• Active Secret Clearance;
• High School Diploma or equivalent;
• Minimum of eight (8) years' experience with NSSMS systems
• Thorough knowledge of the tactical capabilities and usage of the total weapons system.
• Knowledge of engineering principles of a highly specialized level of theories, practices, and techniques to include but not limited to the following cross disciplines; acoustics, electronics, electrical, thermodynamics, piping systems and related interfacing fields in order to provide overall cross analysis from total system viewpoint.

Salary Range: $32.30 - $39.50
