Job Description
We are seeking a part-time consultant or naval design firm for a 6-month project designing a RHIB style small boat. You will be providing feedback and collaborating with our engineering team during the initial design and development which will include physics-based modeling/simulation and functional design concepts for the various systems. If you are an employee this is a good opportunity to start a side income/business with consulting.
Benefits
1099 position starting at $50/Hr. Pay is negotiable based on experience and skills related to the project.

Requirements
Related work degree and/or Experience in marine craft design (propulsion, hull design/stability, shock/vibration, simulations, etc.)
-Small craft design and familiarity with RHIB-style boats is desirable
Willing to contribute 5 hours per week over 6-month PoP. The current start date is slated for April 2024. An average week would be 1-2 hours of meeting with our team on a set schedule and 3-4 hours of support during your own time
U.S. citizenship
Familiar with Navisworks by Autodesk and/or CATIA or SolidWorks
