Job description

Overview
NATIONWIDE SEARCH: TORONTO / CONNECTICUT / FLORIDA - Professional high-profile family is seeking a FULL-TIME LIVE-IN/OUT NANNY to care for and travel and grow long-term with them and their 2 boys; ages 2.5 years and 4-months-old. The perfect candidate is experienced in working with high-profile families, understands early childhood education, and is charismatic, loving, and professional.
The family is seeking a candidate who is flexible for 5 days/week working roughly 40-45 hours/week with 2 consecutive days off. The family travels significantly for work, so the candidate needs to be comfortable with a fluid schedule that is not the same from week to week and is comfortable with the family's lifestyle. Candidates should be comfortable working evenings and weekends on occasion as part of their standard 40-hour schedule.
The family spends January - March in Florida, then stay in Toronto, Canada from April - October, and then they are in Connecticut for October and December. Candidates must have a passport and willingness to travel/fly.
Housing will be provided for the candidate in all locations, whether that is within the family home in a private bedroom/bathroom, or a separate apartment. There are no pets in the home and the family does not have any vaccination preference at this time.
Duties include driving the oldest child/children to preschool as needed, laundry for the kids, picking up and light cleaning after the children, cooking for the children, and ensuring they have creative and educational activities that help them stay on target with their milestones. The mom encourages the nanny to include the 2.5-year-old son in learning to pick up after himself and be independent with some chores. The family is comfortable providing a vehicle for the nanny to drive.
Safety is of the uppermost importance to this family as they are constantly in new environments. Candidates should be vigilant and attentive to the children at all times, especially at work events, if the nanny attends. Mom and Dad are strong communicators and want a nanny who is open and can communicate the needs of the nanny and the needs of the children.
Bilingual skills are a bonus, but not required. A background in Early Childhood Education or similar skills are highly valued. Start date is tentatively January 1, 2024. Pay is $25-30/hr gross based on experience.
