Your Role and Impact
As a Telehealth Dietitian, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering individualized nutrition care to patients from the comfort of your home. Your expertise will help people lead healthier lives and manage chronic conditions effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Review menus for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to dietary guidelines: Analyze menus from a variety of clients, including hospitals, schools, senior living facilities, and restaurants, for compliance with dietary standards and regulations
- Stay up-to-date on nutrition trends and regulations: Continuously research and learn about current nutrition science, dietary guidelines, and relevant regulations to ensure informed menu review practices.
- Contribute to additional projects prn, enriching your professional experience.
Who You Are
- A Registered Dietitian, licensed by the Commission on Dietetic Registration
- Strong understanding of nutrient principles, dietary guidelines, and food service regulations, including the International Dysphagia Diet Standardization initiative (IDDSI) framework for texture-modified foods and thickened liquids.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A team player who is also comfortable working independently.
