The American Heart Association has an excellent opportunity for a National Digital Fundraising Director, Liive. The location for this position is remote.

 

The Director is responsible for developing, planning, growing and retaining fundraising portfolio of volunteers. Responsible for developing and implementing new strategies to drive revenue and engagement to reach annual campaign goals.

  • Leads a team of staff and sets day to day priorities in planning and implementing programs.
  • Cultivate relationships, educate Heart mission initiatives and develop fundraising goals with existing creators who partner with the American Heart Association through American Heart Association Liive.
  • Leads market research and analysis to determine target customer segments and campaign contact lists based on past donation behavior, demographics, interest in our mission, etc.
  • Develops fundraising programs including innovation and critical thinking to overcome obstacles and anticipate program gaps.
  • Develops marketing campaign message language. Partner with fundraising, marketing, brand marketing colleagues, etc. to coordinate marketing campaign timing.
  • Create collateral materials to support the development and growth of these programs.
  • Help build the pipeline to achieve annual income goals.
  • Knowledgeable with gaming/streaming platforms including TwitchTV, TikTok, YouTube.

  • 3 years of relevant experience in fundraising, sales, or equivalent type experience.
  • University/College degree or equivalent experience, preferred.
  • Understanding of gaming culture and content creator space.
  • Experience in peer-to-peer fundraising.
  • Demonstrated community organization skills with the ability to recruit, train and manage volunteers effectively.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills, particularly consumer-oriented writing.
  • Project management - demonstrated track record of meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent design and creative communication development skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the willingness to work with all social strata, occupations, and diverse backgrounds.
  • Presentation skills for small and large groups.
  • Ability to work as part of an integrated team.
  • Willingness and ability to travel within the Region, to National Center, and conferences as needed.
  • Ability to lift at least 20 lbs. from the ground to waist level with or without reasonable accommodation.

Expected pay range will be $120,000 to $130,000.  Pay is commensurate with experience; geographic differentials to the pay range may apply.  This position is incentive eligible based on achieving certain targets. American Heart Association reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range.
