Description
SAIC is seeking a BIM Administrator with established experience, using Autodesk Revit, to create architectural and related documented Building Information Modeling (BIM) models, families, and components. Related position responsibilities include editing personnel and integrated BIM information in the Computer Aided Facility Management (CAFM) database, using Archibus. This position supports the NASA DATSS Program in Washington D.C.
Job Description:
- Maintain, update, and edit Architectural and Mechanical/ Plumbing/ Electrical (MPE) BIM Models, using 2023 Autodesk Revit and reference CAD drawings, including but not limited to: presentation drawings, space layout and reconfiguration drawings, limited scope and construction drawings, and as-built drawings.
- Maintain, update, edit, and produce reports in the CAFM database, using Archibus, to reflect personnel and/or organizational moves, additions, or subtractions.
- Maintain, update, and edit BIM and CAFM standard documents to reflect current workflows
- Check and maintain the operations for scanning and printing documents on the OCE ColorWave 500 large document B&W and color printer. Provide list of supplies to NASA as appropriate.
Qualifications
Required Education:
- Bachelors and two (2) years or more experience; Masters and 0 years related experience.
- Years of experience accepted in lieu of degree.
Required Skills:
- Two (2) to years established knowledge and experience to maintain, update, and edit BIM models and referenced CAD drawings using Autodesk Revit 2023.
- Two (2) years established knowledge and experience maintain, update, and edit CAFM database using Archibus Version 26.2.
- Background in one or more of the following industries is preferred: commercial interior design/ architecture or government projects.
- Background in one or more of the following industries is a plus: mechanical, electrical, or plumbing engineering, or facilities management.
- Licensed architect, interior designer, engineer or PMP certification is a plus, but not a requirement.
- Proficient at using Microsoft Office 365.
- Candidate will work as part of a space planning and facilities team interacting with a diverse group of individuals and customers.
- Work location is a Federal Government Site in Washington, DC.
Clearance:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.
