Our drivers exclusively use electric vehicles, eliminating the need for gas and insurance expenses and sparing your personal vehicle from accumulating additional miles.

Job Description

We're on the lookout for drivers—people who prioritize safety, enjoy helping others, and want to join a company that's growing quickly and making a difference in transportation. Our drivers are more than just drivers; they're caring individuals who take pride in being a part of the communities we serve. They assist seniors and people with disabilities, offer advice to tourists, provide exceptional care to local residents, and essentially serve as an extension of the city—a community ambassador.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and reliable transportation within our communities while delivering the highest level of customer service to our passengers.
• Ensure daily cleanliness and safety of vehicles for daily rides.
• Utilize navigation apps to determine optimal routes, ensuring passengers reach their destinations promptly.
• Act as a community ambassador for Slidr and any partnering companies, which may include distributing samples and promoting events.

Position Requirements

• Minimum age of 21.
• Passion for helping others.
• Valid Florida Driver’s License.
• 3+ years of licensed driving experience in the United States.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and navigate a driver app.
• Clean driving record (Reviewed prior to hire).
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug test, criminal background check, and physical.

A Day in the Life of a Slidr Community Ambassador

• Report to your Slidr home base, typically a Municipal Garage, where our eco-friendly vehicles await.
• Open the Slidr app, log in, and start your day.
• Complete a comprehensive vehicle checklist to ensure everything is in order.
• If you spot an issue, alert the management—they've got your back.
• Clean the vehicle's interior for a pleasant passenger experience.
  
• Hit the road, navigating the service area.
• If assistance is needed, call our Customer Support Team—they're always ready to help.
• Wrap up the day by returning your vehicle to the Slidr garage. After a quick cleaning session, plug the vehicle into our charging stations—and you're done for the day.
