Join the newest premier spa in the Quad Cities, The Spas QC (formerly the Spas at Orion), in Davenport, IA! We are luxury day spa built to serve as an oasis for our guests, which include our staff, students, as well as the general public. The Spas QC offers a variety of treatments and experiences, including massage therapy, body treatments, floatation therapy, esthetic services, manicure and pedicure services, blowout services, and more. In addition to our treatment rooms, we offer male and female locker rooms, as well as a chic lounge in which to relax and socialize. #readytowork
***Pay is 14-15 per hour plus tips and bonus so you will average more than your base based on bonuses, tips, etc...***
Be a part of something special, with opportunities to learn and grow. We are actively seeking qualified Nail Technicians to do manicures, pedicures, and Gel X nails, NO dips or acrylics.
Responsibilities for Nail Technician / Cosmetologist:
- Perform scheduled nail services, and other spa treatments in accordance with policies, protocols, and approved modalities to craft personalized sessions.
- Support team members and managers by providing exceptional service to all guests of the spa.
- Adhere to a high standard of cleanliness and sanitation; maintain daily supplies and treatment rooms; adhere to all company policies and procedures. All supplies are provided.
- Mastering and executing knowledge of spa services, amenities, products, and service standards.
- Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
- Be willing to perform special projects as delegated by management.
- Full and part time positions available.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications for Cosmetologist / Nail Technician:
- Effective communication skills and ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences (such as effectively communicating with guests, supervisors, coworkers, etc.)
- Patience, sensitivity, and confidentiality is essential.
- Must be able to operate equipment specific to assigned work unit, telephone system, cash register, credit card system, etc.
- Must maintain a professional appearance at all times.
- Physical demands of the job include: Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 6 hours in length. Length of time in these tasks may vary from day to day and task to task. Must be able to stand, stoop, squat, and stretch to fulfill room resetting tasks and all massage service protocols. Requires grasping, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening, and hearing ability and visual acuity. Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment.

- When facility is open, which could include nights, weekends, and holidays.
