Louisiana Academy of Performing Arts is a local private school of music and dance serving over 1700 students across three campuses in Covington, Harahan, and Mandeville.
As our enrollment continues to grow, we are seeking talented, passionate, and down to earth music educators who are eager to share their craft with our community.
LAAPA offers flexible schedules, performance opportunities, and a stimulating work environment.
We are currently interviewing candidates for opportunities in our Piano, Voice, Violin, Guitar, Drums and Early Childhood Music Departments.
Compensation based on experience and degree.Requirements:
- Bachelor of Music Degree (or higher) or equivalent professional experience
- Ability to conduct weekly private and group lessons and arrange lesson plans
- Outgoing personality
- Ability to make each lesson fun and enjoyable for students of all ages
