Music Festival Event Staff

DSI is adding to its ranks in the Panama City Beach, FL area. Come join our team as Special Events Staff or a Security Officer. This position works part time/as needed for Gulf Coast Jam and/or special events in the Panama City Beach, FL area June 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th

The duties and responsibilities of a Security Officer include :

• Maintain a safe and secure environment during special events.
• Interact with a variety of persons including clients, visitors, employees and the general public.
• Performing crowd control duties; checking bags; performing access control duties.
• Promoting safety by being alert to observe, correct and report any hazards.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results
• Maintain visibility to ensure safety and deter unacceptable activities.
• Present oneself in a professional manner through appearance and conduct.

Position Requirements:

• Willing to work on an as needed basis
• Be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent
• A valid driver's license preferred
• Have reliable means of transportation and communication
• Pass all required background and drug screenings
• Be customer service oriented
• Basic to intermediate computer skills
• Effective written and oral communication skills
• Be able to perform routine foot patrol and do moderate lifting
