Mural Artist

Are you a highly creative person that is not afraid to get your hands dirty and work hard ? Are you comfortable climbing and working outside in the heat and cold as well as doing graphic design when needed? Are you highly skilled in the ability to use graphic design programs as a tool to design murals? Sign shop and large scale design and painting experience preferred. Self-initiative!!!! Strong organizational skills, excellent time management skills and an ability to communicate with clients clearly and efficiently. The candidate will be expected to design murals, signs and logos, as well as knowledge of hand painting signs and/or murals. This is an ideal position for someone who has a strong background in graphic design and art and has the flexibility to work for a small growing company, as well as the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:

• Create mural, logo and sign designs based on ideas and concepts provided by owner, and customers.
• Ability to understand large-scale artwork and how graphic design translates to that.
• Experience using plotter to print and score templates.
• Ensure that all work meets company standards for specifications and design.
• Knowledge of hand painted art color mixing and theory.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2 – 40 per week
