Under general supervision, the purpose of the position is to provide highly responsible, complex technical strategy for municipal broadcast and online channels. This includes planning, creating, updating, editing and programming content, as well as ensuring its distribution on relevant media channels. Content creation, updates and backend support for city-run websites, including CoralSprings.gov, is key to this role. This position is responsible for coordinating digital and broadcast content across various platforms, including CityTV.
- Ensures content is distributed and promoted across relevant broadcast and digital channels, including cable TV & online streaming, city websites, digital forms, radio and other online platforms.
- Coordinates with the broadcast and digital marketing team to schedule content and ensure its timely release.
- Ensures that all content meets legal and compliance requirements, as well as the organization's quality standards and brand.
- Develops informative, creative content for CityTV and city websites.
- Consults with departments to develop creative/innovative solutions to enhance and improve a variety of digital communications. Support multimedia technical functions at city facilities.
- Contributes to city-wide initiatives and support the City's emerging communication and marketing needs, including redeveloping digital resources and the remediation of documents and online content to ensure ADA compliance and accessibility to the public.
