Multimedia Specialist/Marketing Intern

Position Summary:

The basic function of the Multimedia Specialist Intern is to assist with website optimization, content marketing and contribute to Geater's digital presence and gain exposure to a broad spectrum of multimedia production techniques.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Assist in the creation of multimedia content, including videos, animations, graphics, and interactive presentations.
• Work closely with the creative team to bring concepts to life and ensure alignment with brand guidelines.
• Create visually appealing graphics for various digital platforms, marketing materials, and presentations.
• Contribute to the development and execution of multimedia content for social media platforms.
• Monitor social media trends and suggest innovative ways to enhance engagement through multimedia
• Assist in the design and development of visually compelling web content.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure multimedia content aligns with overall strategies.
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Education and/or Experience:

• Required: High school diploma or GED from an accredited state school system. Must be enrolled and have junior or senior status at an accredited institution in a related field.
• Proficiency in multimedia software.
• Basic understanding of video production techniques, graphic design principles, and web design.
• Strong creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Demands Include:

• Sitting, standing, and walking.
• Use of hands and arms to operate office equipment.

Work Environment:

This person will work in an office which is a temperature controlled environment with moderate noise. There will be outside time spent in the manufacturing environment. This setting involves manufacturing equipment with others working in close proximity.
