Multimedia Specialist

Provides video production and photography support primarily for Gillette’s digital assets, including internal and external facing websites, social media and presentations; creates videos that deliver messages to educate, inspire and engage stakeholders.

This position is a hybrid role, requiring 1-day onsite and flexibility to come onsite as needed is required. The office location is downtown St. Paul, MN. Relocation to the area would be required if the selected candidate resides outside of driving distance upon hire. 

Compensation & Benefits

The annual salary range for this opportunity is $63,128 to $94,702, with a median salary of $78,915/annually. Pay is dependent on several factors including relevant work experience and internal equity. Salary is just one component of the compensation package for employees. Primary Job Responsibilities 

• Collaborates in the creative design and creative content process to effectively produce visuals and stories.
  • Plans, writes and produces scripts; executes professional videos to communicate educational, inspiring and engaging stories to increase awareness and support.
  • Projects may include advertisements, patient education, training, leadership messaging, event coverage, social media and web content generation, and video for news media.
  • Coordinates video production process for organization including camera operation, editing, set and lighting design and audio production.
  • Provides still photography and video services for special events.
  • Provides strategy for the effective use of video and photography to tell our story. Stays current on trends, best practices in the industry.
• Identifies brand-building opportunities.
• Participates in sharing marketing project successes to internal audiences.
• Uses independent judgment and necessary skills in the production of quality images.
• Maintains an organized and accurate photographic file system in PhotoShelter for designated staff to easily reference.
• Provides video equipment check out, set up, and training as needed for staff to record their department in-service training.
• Orders and maintains photography and editing equipment.
• Works collaboratively with members of the Marketing, Business Development, Foundation and other relevant departments.

Qualifications

Required

• Minimum of a four-year degree in photography/video or arts/sciences field
• Minimum of three years of experience in video and audio production
• Strong and demonstrable production skills including camera operation, light and sound, and editing
• Demonstrated experience with video editing software
• Proficiency in digital photography and video imaging, adjustment, and manipulation for electronic and print use
• Proficiency in Adobe creative suite

• Experience in health care industry; specifically in the telling of patient and family stories.
