Job Summary/Description:
WLBT is looking for a MULTIMEDIA JOURNALIST to join our award-winning news team. This person should be a born storyteller who seeks out stories that matter to the community.
Duties/Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Shooting, writing and editing daily content for newscasts and website
- Building local contacts and pitching story ideas
- Live reporting on news stories
- Participate in daily editorial meetings
Qualifications/Requirements:
- College degree in journalist/related field or equivalent work experience
- Strong writing skills
- Time management skills
- Familiarity with video cameras and editing software
