Official Title: Multimedia Designer Business Title: Multimedia Facilities Coordinator Employment Class: Non-Instructional Academic Staff FTE: 1.0 Compensation: $37,300 FLSA Status: Exempt Terms of Employment: 12-month, Annual, Fixed-term terminal Position Summary:

Designs and develops multimedia solutions and materials in collaboration with other content creators, adhering to project timelines and developing and posting content for a specified unit in support of visually and contextually communicating messages aligned with unit strategy.

  • Conceptualizes, plans, designs, and executes multimedia solutions for a specific work unit that may be used through various platforms in collaboration with stakeholders and other content creation staff
  • Contributes to the development of communication, event, and marketing materials to fit into the overall strategy of the work unit
  • Tracks and manages timelines and deliverables related to communication projects
  • Directs operational activities for multiple communication platforms and posts content within a work unit that may include websites, social media, written/illustrative communications, and online tools
  • Develops communication, event, and marketing strategies and materials to align with the overall work unit strategic initiative
  • Develops and facilitates trainings for staff and customers regarding technology options and best practices

Responsibilities
  1. Manage all video board operations for all events in Kolf Sports Center and Titan Stadium including but not limited to commencement, student orientation etc.
  2. Manage the internship programs and supervise student workers to improve game presentation.
  3. Produce, shoot and edit video content (interviews, highlight packages, commercials, etc.) for the Athletics website, social media and video boards.
  4. Responsible for the execution of game promotions for athletic events.
  5. Design and coordinate all promotional materials related to all game and season promotions.
  6. Coordinate the promotion and entertainment presentations on game day, which include public address announcers, music, cheerleaders, National Anthem singers, and Titan Thunder Band.
  7. Work or arrange for workers (student volunteers) at athletic events to coordinate the execution of activities, and other promotional activities.
  8. Take an active role in the implementation of branding the Athletics department.
  9. Maintain all graphics as it relates to the concession stand monitors at all facilities, including the monitoring of Corporate Sponsorship proof of performance on those monitors.
  10. Coordinate and/or complete maintenance on all video boards.
  11. Design graphics for the Athletics website, social media and various publications, as well as establishing sponsorship opportunities on the Internet.
Qualifications   Required:

1. Must have knowledge and skill set to operate a Daktronics Show Control and Newtek Tricaster System.

2. Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

2. At least one year of Adobe Suite expertise.

4. Bachelor's degree in Radio TV & Film, graphic design, or related field

5. Willingness to work nights and weekends.

6. Knowledge of setup and teardown of Digital Scores Tables, such as Daktronics.

7. Must have digital editing capabilities.

Preferred:

1. Strong communication skills.

2. Willingness to work with corporate partners.

3. Strong organizational skills.

4. Proficient at game day script preparation.

5. Experience in live production.
