Multimedia Coordinator
Here at the American Quarter Horse Association (AQHA) we have a lot of pride for our horse, our members, and our employees. Our Marketing team is dedicated to ensuring our history, mission, and support of the American Quarter Horse and its community is clear. We are seeking the right person to help tell the history and story of AQHA through photography and video. Position Summary:
The Multimedia Coordinator coordinates all AQHA live production events and assists the Manager of Multimedia Production in the strategic development, production and implementation of activities related to the conception, design, creation, development, and production of media—video, audio, graphics, multimedia, and other forms of digital media—for diverse audiences, including internal and external stakeholders. This position will also be responsible for the conception, design, creation, development, and implementation of AQHA event production.
What are we looking for:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • 2-5 years of experience in live event production.
  • Technical knowledge of live-event A/V equipment.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro and vMix.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred, but not required.
  • Must be available for travel.
Responsibilities:
  • Plan and execute A/V for all AQHA and AQHF events including, but not limited to:
    • Employee assemblies
    • Convention
    • Hall of Fame Celebration
    • America’s Horse in Art
    • Racing Champion Announcements
    • Judges Conferences
    • World Show
    • Youth World Show
    • VRH World Show
  • Work with outside A/V vendors to get quotes for events; liaise with hired vendors, as needed, during event production.
  • Prep and load gear for live events.
  • Organize and load screen content for events.
  • Assist in performing multimedia operation and production work involving the design, preparation, and production of multimedia content using photographic, audio, and video equipment.
  • Assist in the design, editing, and integration of digital content, graphics, animation, photography, illustrations, and other multimedia visualization and imaging products.
  • Assist in the production, direction, and editing of video projects, including planning, scripting, capturing footage, and designing graphics and interactive media materials.
  • Edit and review multimedia files for production using computer-assisted and other special effects audiovisual equipment.
  • Discuss requirements with internal and external stakeholders and coordinate video production, editing and completion of projects.
Details
  • This is a full-time position.
  • Monday – Friday, 8am – 5 pm
  • This position is on-site only at our headquarters in Amarillo, Texas.
