BASIC FUNCTIONS
To provide supplementary instruction in reading, language arts and/or mathematics in a tutorial setting, for students identified as Multilingual Learners (MLLs) as appropriate.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED
Tutors work under the direction of a certified staff member. Their instruction is based upon district curriculum and diagnosis and planning of the certified staff member(s).

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Implement students goals and objectives as in accordance with level of language acquisition
- Utilize appropriate instructional materials
- Provide instruction and support to students assigned
- Progress monitor student performance
- Assist with assessments (classroom and districtwide)
- Communicate progress to classroom teacher/special education case manager
- Other duties as assigned by district MLL Coordinator and/or building principal
