Summary
Promotes quality patient care through the performance of routine and invasive imaging procedures utilizing appropriate technique, established protocols, physician direction and age specific guidelines. Maintains thorough knowledge of PACS, equipment, supplies, radiation safety and quality assurance guidelines and applies such knowledge in day-to-day performance of duties.
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Education: Graduate from an approved/accredited School of Radiologic Technology required.
Certification : Required certification in two of the following modalities beyond radiology. ARRT(R)(T)(M)(MR)(N)(CT), ARMRIT certification, NMTCB
Licensed: Texas Medical Board Medical Radiologic Technologist Technical, clerical, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills relevant to patient care/area.
Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification required. Other certification requirements as defined by the certification policy. Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
Salary: $32.88- $40.08
