Ryerson has an opportunity available for a Multi-Market EHS Manager. The Multi-Market EHS Manager would provide leadership to ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal environmental and safety regulations for facilities within their market. The Market EHS Manager will also work with the Ryerson Corporate EHS Department to develop and expand the EHS programs.

At Ryerson, you have the opportunity to grow in your career, work with teammates that feel like family, and help make our world a better place.Role and Responsibilities:Provide leadership in development, implementing, and managing EHS programs, policies, and practices for multiple locations in the West Region. Ensure compliance requirements for EHS programs are implemented and maintained.
Implement and coordinate safety programs to reduce or eliminate occupational injuries. Support managers and supervisors regarding their roles and responsibilities required by EHS programs. Perform regular audits and inspections of the facilities to identify potential environmental and safety hazards then collaborate with employees and site leadership to identify and implement corrective actions.
Support the site level Incident Investigation Team through thorough incident investigation process using 5y and Fishbone methods for near misses and injuries. Support Safety Council and other EHS related teams to help drive positive performance and drive continuous improvement in our safety culture. Obtain continuous education related to EHS.
Become certified as an OSHA Certified Trainer.Other duties as assigned by management and supervisors.
