Multi-Family Site Superintendent

Now hiring Site Superintendent with experience in wood-framing and multi-unit residential construction; large commercial project experience may be substituted.

The Candidate will have a strong track record of completing on time and within budget large ground up construction projects. Site Super will be able to oversee the entire construction from initial planning to project completion. He or she must have excellent leadership and communication skills to work with subcontractors, vendors, regulatory personnel, and project management.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Supervising daily subcontractor activities (task production, schedule, safety, and quality).
• Solving job site issues.
• Scheduling and managing material procurement and delivery.
• Maintaining daily paperwork, field reports, schedule updates, and E-mail correspondence to keep all parties involved with the project informed of important issues.

Requirements:

1. Must have strong leadership skills.
2. Must have experience in general contracting (site work, concrete, wood framing, interior & exterior finishes, and MEP systems).
3. Must have thorough knowledge of OSHA’s requirements for construction.
4. Must be able to read drawings, specs and other construction documents.
5. Must be able to identify quality workmanship as it relates to building codes, industry standards, and contract documents.
6. Must be able to produce, maintain, and direct the project schedule.
7. 5+ years of construction management experience.
8. (4) Year Degree in Construction Management is desired.

Must be able to use computer bases tools including but not limited to MS Office, Scheduling Software and Project Management Software.
