Multi-Family Property Housekeeper

HOUSEKEEPER

Objective

Maintain the day-to-day operations and to assume responsibility for maintaining the physical asset of the property under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor and/or Property Manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Performing minor repairs, troubleshooting, and adjustment of locks on cabinets, locks, closets, and doors.

· Responsible for performing variety of cleaning duties, including sweeping, dusting, vacuuming, washing windows and operation power machines to clean, wash and shampoo carpet. Cleaning shall include floors, walls, fixtures, etc.

· Properly use small hand tools, equipment, and a variety of cleaning solutions. Ensure safely standards and comply with all company safety guidelines.

· Complete grounds work as directed by Maintenance Supervisor and/or Property Manager which may include trash pick-up, clearing/cleaning hallways, laundry facilities and dumpster areas; maintain landscape beds and other areas.

· Complete make-ready process of vacant apartments as directed by Maintenance Supervisor and/or Property Manager, including furniture/appliance removal, trash-out, carpet removal, painting, and cleaning.

· Ensure safe and orderly storage and use of cleaning chemicals, supplies and equipment.

· Perform other tasks as assigned.

Specific Knowledge, Skills, Licenses, Certifications, Etc.

· Ability to use efficiently various power and hand tools.

· Ability to establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships.

· Requires a high school diploma/GED.

· Ability to work independently on assigned tasks, as well as accept direction on given assignments.

Requirements/Qualifications

*Must have a minimum of 1 year(s) experience working in a multi-family apartment complex setting

Physical Requirements

· Must be able to lift and move objects up to 75 pounds consistently with heavier weight necessary at times

· Bending, stooping, and climbing (ladders, stairs, etc.)

· Extended periods of walking

· Regular exposure to weather conditions

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
