Mtb Sales Representative

We are The Bike Company (BikeCo.com). We are a high-end mountain bike retailer that specializes in the sale and servicing of Pro to Race level mountain bikes and parts. We are looking to add a Sales Associate to join our inside sales team. We are seeking a driven, well-spoken individual with a passion for mountain bikes, sales, and customer service to join us at our headquarters in Lake Forest CA.

Responsibilities:

• Present and sell company products and services to new and existing customers.
• Prospect and contact potential customers
• Reach agreed upon sales targets by the deadline.
• Resolve customer inquiries and complaints.
• Set follow-up appointments to keep customers aware of the latest developments.
• Create sales material to present to customers.
• Update company’s social media posts
• Provide a high level of customer service.

​ Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years sales and customer service experience
• Ability to build rapport with clients.
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Ability to Multi-task
• Basic understanding of general sales and marketing principles
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills, ability to tailor communications to fit various audiences and technical levels.
• Familiarity with CRM platforms
• Ability to work on a small team in a dynamic setting.
• Excellent problem solving and relationship management skills.
• Basic understanding of mountain biking /cycling culture
• Willingness to learn and adapt to a quickly growing and changing work environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Mountain Biking, Cycling or outdoor industry experience.
• Working knowledge of bicycle technologies, past, current, and emerging
• Experience with basic bicycle maintenance
• Experience with Google Drive and Google Docs
• Experience with social media and connected apps
• Experience with Microsoft Excel
