The opportunity
Actavis Laboratories FL, Inc is seeking a MS&T Specialist III – Packaging (Sunrise, FL) to lead package projects in the packaging facilities area for oral solid dosage forms by focusing on primary package design through identification of selecting and recommending solutions.
- Write clear qualification protocols (PPQ and PKPPQ) using knowledge of chemical and physical processes, technology transferred from Product Development areas (both internal and external) and input from other sources confirming that processes are properly validated.
- Complete all training requirements and maintain 100% compliance with all assignments.
- Maintain work areas and perform job functions in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with company policies and procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP’s), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and Batch Record instructions.
Your experience and qualifications
- Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Management, Pharmacy, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, and 3 years of experience in the field of Pharmaceutical manufacturing/packaging and/or pharmaceutical process development and pre-validation.
- Must have experience with:
- FDA Regulations, current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs).
- Writing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Master Packaging Records for regulatory filing that clearly represent the proper packaging activities and techniques to reproducibly package products that meet final packaging specifications for quality, purity, performance and safety.
- Authoring, reviewing or approving investigation reports, protocols and CMC documentation.
- MS Office including Word, PowerPoint, Excel; and experience with at least one statistical software application such as Minitab or JMP.
