Unit Capacity: 38 Beds Population Served: Strokes, Neurological disorders, Brain injuries, Brain Tumors, Spine Injuries, Brain and Spine Surgeries, Seizures, Epilepsy, 3 EMU rooms (Epilepsy Monitoring Unit) AMS, Dementia, Neuropsychology/Behavioral Health, Med-surg Ages of Patients Served: Young Adult through Late Adult (18 - 60+) Nurse to Patient Ratios: 1:6 Core Staffing Plan: Variable staffing grid to include: Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Patient Care Technicians (PCTs), Nurse Interns (NIs). An RN assumes full responsibility for the patients on each team.
