SalaryMRI Technologist (PRN) needed for an outpatient diagnostic imaging facility. Hours will be PRN . The sites will be in Columbia and Orangeburg.
DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Perform ortho, neuro, and body scans
Follow the specific guidelines set forth by the center
Perform necessary quality control procedures to ensure quality exams are performed
Maintains patient satisfaction and comfort, and adheres to proper safety procedures
Responsible for maintaining current licensure and certification.
QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION
High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
Degree from an accredited school of Radiological Sciences is required.
Experience:1-3 years MRI Technician experience preferred
Knowledge, Skills & Education Required:
Ability to communicate effectively and work with people of diverse backgrounds
Knowledge of MRI scanners and procedures
Ability to learn and grow with new technology
Customer service skills
MRI safety knowledge
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related field (Preferred)
Prior MRI experience
General computer skills and PACS
Basic IV skills
General physics and anatomy
Must be able to pass a background screening
Licensure, Certification, or Registration Required:
ARRT(MR)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Pay: $35.00 - $38.00 per hour
