JOBSUMMARY:
A Performs MRI procedures at a technical levelrequiring no constant supervision.
A Performs avariety of technical and imaging procedures that require independent judgment.
A Assumes responsibility for patient safety and imagequality protocols.
WORK HOURS:
A PRN hours as required to provide departmental coverage 24 hours aday plus on-call coverage.
A Must have flexibility tofill in staffing requirements with vacations, illnesses, terminations.
A Overtime occasionally required.

QUALIFICATIONS:
A EDUCATION
o Graduate of Radiologic program, which is accreditedby the Joint Review Committee for Radiology Technology Education (JRCRTE).
A LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION
o Valid State Licensure, Valid ARRT Licensure.
A TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
o Completion of accredited Radiology Technologistprogram.
A JOB KNOWLEDGE
o JACHOstandards, Performing all routine MRI procedures.
PRINCIPLETASKS, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform M.I. procedures as ordered, including MRI, x-rays, fluoros
- Standby in surgery with C-arm
- Utilize portable x-ray equipment as needed.
- Perform procedures on inpatients, outpatients, and ER patients
- Transport patients
- Process films
- Forward films to ER and discuss findings with physician, if needed
- Assist with peer group interviews
- Work you share of overtime when heavy workload arises
- Order and stock supplies
- Handle equipment problems by investigation, calling repair service, notifying Tech Supr or Manager
- Assist coworkers with transport and procedures
- Additional duties may be added to techas responsibilities if and when the need arises
- Be abreast of all P.I. projects and areas routinely monitored
- Assist Tech Supr and Manager with projects when needed
- Attend department meetings, hospital in-services
- Assists in departmental orientation to new employees
- Follow IMC Standards of Performance, Hospital Goals, Department Goals
- Responsible for scheduling and cost of continuing education
