Position: Motorsports Fabricator

Location: Wragth Motorsports

Job Type: Full-time

Wragth Motorsports, a leader in the automotive performance industry, is seeking an experienced Motorsports Fabricator to join our innovative and skilled team. This position is ideal for a passionate individual who excels in metal fabrication and has a keen interest in motorsports. The successful candidate will be instrumental in creating and modifying high-performance automotive parts, with a focus on delivering superior quality and precision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality MIG and TIG welding on various metals, ensuring strong and clean welds for both structural and aesthetic purposes.
  • Design, fabricate, and install custom automotive parts, including but not limited to turbo kits, exhaust systems, and roll cages.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to create precise and functional automotive components.
  • Collaborate with engineers and technicians to develop fabrication plans and identify the best approach for custom projects.
  • Utilize a variety of metalworking tools and equipment, including shears, rollers, plasma cutters, and presses, to cut, bend, and shape materials to specifications.
  • Ensure all fabricated components meet the required standards and specifications, with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to industry safety standards and best practices.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure clear understanding of project requirements and timelines.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Motorsports Fabricator, with strong skills in MIG and TIG welding.
  • Familiarity with designing and fabricating turbo kits and other custom automotive parts.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and drawings.
  • Strong understanding of metal properties and fabrication techniques.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to work on complex projects with attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Commitment to quality and precision in all work activities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in welding or fabrication is a plus.

Qualifications:

  • Technical certification or significant experience in welding, metal fabrication, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in the motorsports industry or custom automotive fabrication is highly desired.
  • Valid driver’s license.

Pay: $25.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
