As our Mortgage Processor, you will help our mortgage lending team by providing quality loan processing assistance, reviewing files for adherence to underwriting standards and ensuring completeness of submission. Every day, you will process mortgage payments and payoffs for in-house serviced mortgages, track insurance and real estate taxes on non-escrowed accounts, and serve as backup to our Mortgage Processor. You'll be our go-to for answering inquiries concerning mortgage loan and escrow accounts that will help our members reach their goals no matter how big or small.
Here's what you can expect:
- Answering inquiries from members concerning mortgage loan services and answering questions concerning the servicing of their mortgage loan and escrow account
- Obtaining reports from credit reporting agencies, employment and deposit verifications and order title work
- Assisting with preparation of closing documents, including mobile home escrow documents
- Effectively communicating with coworkers and members
- Supportive, positive environment
Here's what we expect:
- 40 hours a week, typically 8am-5pm Monday-Friday
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Six months of related work experience preferred
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Passion for service and supporting the mission and vision of Capital Credit Union
