Position Overview:
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Post Closing Shipper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely packaging and shipping of mortgage loan files to investors and agencies. This role plays a critical part in our post-closing process, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.

Location: Palatine, IL

Responsibilities:

• Review mortgage loan files to ensure completeness and accuracy post-closing.
• Prepare and package loan files for delivery to investors and agencies according to established guidelines.
• Coordinate with internal departments to resolve any outstanding issues or discrepancies in loan documentation.
• Maintain detailed records and documentation of all shipped loan files.
• Stay informed about changes in regulatory requirements and investor guidelines related to post-closing processes.
• Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and improve efficiency in post-closing operations.
• Assist with other duties and projects as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in mortgage lending or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in mortgage lending, preferably in post-closing or shipping roles.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and mortgage loan origination software.
• Knowledge of mortgage lending regulations and investor requirements preferred.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay: $35,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
