This is a full-time position and Loan Officers are allowed to work remotely.
Compensation: 100% Commission. A motivated and driven LO should be able to far exceed $100,000 per year
Compensation:$100,000 + at plan commission per year
Responsibilities:- Build and maintain relationships through networking and prospecting with realtors, builders, and community leaders to attract new business
- With the help of your team, create engaging and results-oriented marketing initiatives to attract high-quality leads
- At a minimum, maintain an active rolling pipeline of at least 3 loans per month
- Sell yourself, your team, and your loan products effectively for potential new leads
- Train your skills and continually learn the guidelines, products, and services that our lenders have to offer to your clients
- Be available during the weekends to address files and send pre-approval letters when clients are making offers
- Monitor the mortgage process to ensure all company and regulatory processes are adhered to
- Coach borrowers to understand the pros and cons of different loan products to determine what is a great fit for their goals
- Take extreme ownership when working with realtors, processors, and underwriters to ensure a smooth transaction while overseeing all customer interactions
- Must have an active NMLS Mortgage Originator License
- At least 2 years of experience in mortgage origination as a Loan Officer or Loan Officer assistant is required
- Exceptional decision-making ability, superior written and verbal communication skills, and superb interpersonal and customer service skills required
- An understanding of loan originator software such as Arive LOS, CRMs such as Bonzo, and experience in Microsoft Office Suite is highly preferred
- A deep understanding of VA, FHA, USDA, Conventional, Construction, and other types of loans is highly preferred
