Responsibilities/QualificationsFirst Equity Mortgage, a subsidiary of Drees Homes, is seeking candidates for a Mortgage Loan Closer position.
As a Mortgage Loan Closer, you will be responsible for assembling, preparing and reviewing critical closing documents. You will coordinate the closing process with title companies to ensure all documents are correct and disclosed timely. You will also work with internal staff to ensure all terms of the loan are met prior to closing.
Responsibilities include:
- Schedule loan closing dates and times
- Conduct a closing quality review on loan files
- Order final inspections
- Prepare and send preliminary closing disclosures to the title company
- Obtain verifications of employment
- Balance preliminary closing disclosures
- Disclose the Closing Disclosure to the borrower ensuring all timing requirements have been met
- Send closing packages to the title company
- Make document changes and re-disclose if necessary
Requirements include:
- 2-years Mortgage Loan closing experience
- Knowledge of Encompass or other Mortgage Loan software
- Knowledge of policies and procedures as it relates to loan documentation and processing helpful
- Good computer skills including Microsoft Office - Word, Excel and Outlook
- Strong organizational skills and detail oriented
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
- Strong customer service skill and team focus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Our office is located in Fort Mitchell, KY. This is not a remote position.
