Guardian Mortgage, a division of Sunflower Bank, N.A. is looking for an energetic, highly motivated individual to fill the full-time position of Mortgage Customer Service Representative in Plano, TX. The Mortgage Customer Representative ensures company customers are greeted and treated with excellent Customer Service standards. As the face and voice of the customer, the CSR arranges "first call resolution" for customer questions, requests and concerns in a timely, accurate, compliant and professional manner. The position also supports the Retail and Correspondent Divisions with their loan process and documentation.
This is a small department, not your typical call center! No weekend work schedule helps with overall work-life balance. Internal growth opportunities are available within the Servicing Department. We work as a strong team of trusted representatives with a true passion to help our customers.
Due to our team nature, this role is required to be in our Plano, TX office location. This keeps communication flowing and direct access to the leadership team.
- Respond to a customers' questions, requests, or concerns when contacted by telephone, email, mail or in person. Reply to simple inquiries. Recognize the need for greater expertise. Locate and coordinate with the right employees to address customer inquiries. Produce a "first call resolution" usually by a 24- hour deadline.
- Use a variety of computer programs and applications for communication, record keeping, and other common tasks. Sufficiently and concisely document all customer communications by database or Laserfiche in a timely, accurate and compliant manner.
- Prepare purchase advices and setup packages for correspondent loans in a timely, accurate and compliant manner. Check new loan setup for data integrity, etc. on a 48 hour turnaround.
- Meet ongoing deadlines regarding underwriting, etc.
- Meet rules, obligations, timelines, and deadlines to comply with company policy, contracts, investor guidelines, lending programs, and state and federal law and regulation
Education / Experience Preferred:
- Bachelor's Degree in a discipline related to the requirements of the position, preferred or equivalent work experience
- Two years of Mortgage Servicing experience
- Must be proficient in Laserfiche, preferred
- Must possess professional and leadership qualities
- Must possess strong interpersonal, time management and organizational skills
- Must have the ability to use a multi-line phone system
